In 2009 the Vancouver Quarter was the open air stage for "Kings Lynn's Got Talent", plus during the "Festival Too" week's in July the Vancouver Quarter plays host to street entertainers, children's ride's etc. The Vancouver Quarter management ensures whatever the occasion they will do their best to encourage visitors to the Vancouver Quarter Shopping Centre.

Kings Lynn being an historic seafaring and market town with markets on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday has car parking facilities all round the town it also has an abundance of bus routes that arrive at Kings Lynn's Vancouver Bus Station from most of the surrounding towns and villages on a daily basis, along with a frequent service between Lowestoft and Peterborough via Norwich. On Tuesdays there are services into Kings Lynn from many of the more remote villages in West Norfolk it is currently estimated that over 170'000 shoppers use the Vancouver Shopping Centre every week.
