The Middle Level has quite rightly established itself as one of the premier Zander waters in the country, and in doing so practically re written the top 50 Zander list into the process.
But the area responsible for this phenomenon covers only a relatively small area of the Middle Level system. There is plenty of other water which, although may not be as spectacular as the main drain itself does still offer great sport with both Pike and Zander.

The Middle Level rivers provide some of the best coarse fishing in the country and are regularly used for various National Championships
