The village of Castle Rising on the outskirts of Kings Lynn is know for its history. The Norman Keep is said to be one of the best preserved in the country, Queen Isabella was exiled to Castle Rising after her son Edward the 111 inherited the throne.
To - Day this idyllic village attract many visitors and the Black Horse is situated right in the heart of the village is an ideal place to go for just a drink, light refreshments or a meal.
The Black Horse offers a fine range of Beers Wines Spirits and Minerals, all served in a pleasant atmosphere, at week ends they have occasional music.
The Black Horse has an extensive menu mainly English cuisine catering for all including children and vegetarian plus they also have daily specials to be found on the blackboards in the restaurant.
